NTA NEET UG 2026 Exam Cancelled: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam are advised to remain calm and stay updated via the official website.

As per the latest official information, a New Exam Date for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be announced shortly. Once the revised schedule is released, fresh Admit Cards will be issued on the official portal. All previously registered candidates will be eligible to appear for the re-exam.

Understanding the NEET UG Exam Pattern

The re-examination will follow the same CBT (Computer Based Test) or Pen-and-Paper (OMR) mode as originally planned. Candidates must be familiar with the structure:

No Re-registration: You do not need to apply again. Your existing registration data will be used for the re-exam.
Fee Refund/Adjustment: NTA has clarified that students will not be charged any extra fee for the re-conducted exam.
Fresh Admit Cards: Your old admit card is now invalid. A new admit card with a fresh exam date and potentially a new center will be released on the official portal.
Eligibility: All candidates who were eligible for the May 3 exam will automatically be eligible for the re-exam.

Steps to Download the New Admit Card 2026

Once the NTA releases the revised dates, you must download a Fresh Admit Card. Follow these steps:

Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
Submit the details and view your admit card.
Check your New Exam Center, Date, and Reporting Time.

What is the Exam City Intimation Slip?

Before the admit card is released, NTA usually issues an Exam City Intimation Slip.

Purpose: It tells you which city your exam will be held in so you can make travel arrangements.
Difference: Unlike the admit card, it does not show the exact name of the school or center. It only shows the city name and the date of the exam.
